Quality Policy
Our company has created one of the best equipped laboratories in Poland, enabling to conduct in-depth analysis of the quality parameters of both wheat and flour.
All the investments, complementary to each other, were the technological line to safeguard the production meeting the highest quality requirements.
The result of the implementation of modern techniques and technology and excellent product is wheat flour being honoured at the International Fair of Healthy Life and Food ECOLIFE. The effect of such stringent quality-driven technological process was for Tortowa flour to be certified Q, granted by the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification already in 1999 and keeping the trademark in the subsequent years. This trademark has also been received for Królowa Kuchni flour.
The final confirmation of the permanent maintenance of the quality regime was to obtain a certificate ISO Quality System (already in 2000). In 2003, we implemented an Integrated Quality Management System covering ISO (based on ISO 9001:2000) and HACCP (based on Codex Alimentarius). As a result of further intensive work of the whole PZZ team, we have been enabled to have the prestigious Certificate of IFS, which the company received in February 2010.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Polskie Zaklady Zbozowe w Krakowie S.A has been achieving relatively very good financial results for several years. This success is attributable to all employees of our company, the whole team and each employee individually. The main source of achievements are high professional qualifications of the staff, moral qualities and high personal culture of each person.
Forming such a human team within several years is, on the one hand, the success of the recent years and, on the other hand, more importantly, it provides opportunities in prospective terms. If we are aware that in every economic system, in every organisation, in every enterprise (company) the greatest asset is the Man, then obtaining very good financial results in the context of economic development is obvious.
Let, therefore, the development of our company's staff will be a message to all of us, but above all, to the authorities of the company, which make decisions about its future.

The milling traditions of our company date back to pre-war years, but the dynamic growth of the company began with the establishment of joint stock company. As a result of commercialization of state enterprises, on 3 rd April 1995 on the basis of Okręgowe Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Zbożowo-Młynarskiego (Regional Enterprise of Grain and Milling Industry), Polskie Zakłady Zbożowe „PZZ” w Krakowie S.A (Polish Grain Plant „PZZ” in Krakow JSC) was established. The new era of our enterprise began, which continues to this day. In 1996 and 2007, two modern production lines were created with a milling yield of 300 and 200 tons per day respectively. In both cases, the equipment by Bühler, a German company was installed. We have built grain storage tanks. We continually invest in modern machinery and equipment.
